If you have too much work on your hands, a task manager can make your life easier. An excellent example is Taskfabric, which allows you to collect and organize tasks, manage projects, sync everything with a cloud folder and perform many other operations, in a simple and comfortable fashion. It can be used for personal purposes or in businesses by entire teams. The application is available for Mac OS X, iOS and Windows and it can be installed in a matter of seconds.

The user interface may look a bit intimidating at a first glance, but everything is organized in a way that makes perfect sense and the most important controls are explained on a welcome dialog, when you launch the application. Also, getting used to the layout is quite easy. Tasks can be created one by one or in batch mode in the central region of the window. A wide range of filters can be found on the left side and you can view additional information about individual tasks, as well as OS X Calendar items, on the right side.

Created tasks show up as ribbons, on which you can type their names, prioritize and flag them, set up schedules or make them recurring. What's more, the application allows you to specify a context, as well as responsible, accountable, consulted and informed persons for each task. Also, task can be marked as actions, information or decisions.

There are several ways of finding tasks. You can select one of the filters, on the left side of the interface, to view flagged items, display them by priority, project and other criteria. It is also possible to list tasks that are marked as action, information or decision.

One of Taskfabric's key features is the possibility of synchronizing the database with a cloud folder. This gives you the possibility of accessing all your tasks on a web browser, from anywhere in the world. You can also share your tasks, through different channels, if your projects involve collaborating with other people.

Pros

The application's controls are well organized and easy to understand. Creating tasks and organizing them is quite easy. You can filter them by various criteria, upload them to the cloud and share them with other people.

Cons

There are no visual differences between actions, information and decisions. While using Taskfabric, organizing and prioritizing tasks for one or more projects can be as fast and easy as possible.
